To ensure proper operation, RAM recommends a minimum ¾” bore master cylinder with at least 1.100” stroke.
Vehicle-Specific Kits for Late-Model Performance Cars
RAM also offers application-specific hydraulic bearing kits for GM, Ford, and Chrysler late-model vehicles. These kits include all of the necessary lines, fittings, and adapters to connect directly to the OE master cylinder, plus an external bleeder line kit for easy maintenance.
Six-speed models feature a bolt-on base collar that mounts to the transmission face, ensuring proper bearing alignment and fitment — especially important when installing aftermarket clutches with different installed heights than the factory unit.
These kits streamline installation and help achieve the precise bearing height and release characteristics required for high-performance driving.
Note: RAM hydraulic bearings are not compatible with GM factory “self-adjusting” pressure plate clutch systems.
