RAM offers more options for 1982-97 Camaro and Firebird. V8 engines use the same 10.5 inch clutch system 1982-92, although the flywheels change over in 1986 to the later model 1 piece rear main seal. 1993 was the introduction of the ‘pull style’ clutch systems in these cars. RAM offers both conventional pull style kits as well as a unique push style conversion system that eliminates the factory fork and external slave and replaces them with an internal hydraulic release bearing. Get the clutch system that best suits your application and anticipated use!

RAM push conversion systems

Model year 1993-97 F-body cars utilize a T56 6 speed transmission with a factory pull style clutch system.  RAM has developed a complete system to replace this pull style unit with a conventional push style package including the pressure plate, clutch disc, billet steel flywheel and internal hydraulic release bearing.  This package eliminates the factory fork and external slave cylinder.  Systems come with all of the lines and adapter fittings needed to connect right up to the factory master cylinder.  A choice of 300 series organic, 900/300 series Powergrip, or 900 series Powergrip HD metallic friction discs are available.  These systems are also ideal for customers using the 93-97 transmission in retrofit applications.
