Introducing the Concept 9.5 Dual Disc
The RAM Concept 9.5 dual disc clutch kit meets the need for a smaller diameter or more compact, shorter design to fit in applications with limited bellhousing space. Building on the highly successful Concept 10.5 and Force 9.5 complete dual disc systems, the Concept 9.5 incorporates a billet stand design that allows the use of any RAM or other flat flywheel to facilitate installation.
The features of this system include:
- A higher clampload 2000 pound static pressure plate with easy pedal effort.
- Precision machined billet stand segments to provide a stable mounting platform. No flimsy stamped steel mounting provisions.
- Precision mounting hardware properly centers the segments to the flywheel for proper balance and vibration free driving comfort.
- Strap driven floater plate system assures a quiet, no rattle operation at any RPM.
- Sprung hub top disc, solid hub bottom disc arrangement helps dampen initial engagement and ease stress on the driveline.
- Nesting clutch disc hub design provides more spline engagement area on the input shaft and helps spread out the load more evenly to avoid input spline damage.
- Each unit is preassembled by hand in house, insuring the appropriate floater plate gap is achieved for a trouble free installation and performance.
- Available with either 300 series organic friction material for applications up to about 700 horsepower, or 900 series metallic friction material for use up to about 850 horsepower.
- Concept 9.5 units are perfect for applications where a lighter, smaller diameter clutch system is appropriate such as road race or autocross vehicles.

Concept 9.5 dual disc clutch kits are compatible with most any flat flywheel for both 10.5 and 11/12 inch bolt circles. RAM always recommends using the larger Concept 10.5 dual disc models where fitment is possible, but if you have limited space or height restrictions and need the holding capacity of a dual disc clutch, the RAM Concept 9.5 is built just for you!
